I feel obliged to praise the work and professionalism of Dr. Ari Pelta.
My 15-year-old son was scheduled to undergo surgery in a hospital under general anesthesia for pilonidal sinus.
Following a referral by a devoted nurse, I took my son to Dr. Pelta.
He performed the surgery last week under local anesthesia
with the accompaniment of a nurse.
Dr. Ari Pelta is so professional, understanding and patient.
He printed material for us about the disease and the needed treatment after surgery.
Even in the waiting room I heard only praise about him.
With G-d's will, may there be many more doctors like him.

In December 2013, I had emergency surgery due to an intestinal obstruction performed by Dr. Pelta. In preparation for surgery, Dr. Pelta came up to me and my family and explained thoroughly and sensitively various stages of surgery and possible complications. Dr. Pelta answered all our questions patiently and professionally. Immediately after surgery, Dr. Pelta sat with my family for a long time to explain the different findings of the analysis and the short and long term treatment.
Several days after the surgery I had to go back for further hospitalization due to contamination discovered in my body. During hospitalization, Dr. Pelta visited me several times, even though I was not listed as his patient during this hospital stay. When he visited, he examined me, advised me, and explained to me professionally and in detail about the disease (Crohn's disease) which I suffer from, and modes of treatment.
In all our meetings with Dr. Pelta we felt we were in good hands, and were treated in a professional and welcome manner.

בדצמבר 2013 עברתי ניתוח חירום עקב חסימת מעיים ע"י ד"ר פלטא. עוד בהכנה לניתוח ד"ר פלטא ניגש אלי ולמשפחתי והסביר לנו ביסודיות וברגישות על שלבי הניתוח השונים ועל סיבוכים אפשריים. ד"ר פלטא ענה על כל שאלותינו בסבלנות ובמקצועיות. מיד לאחר הניתוח ד"ר פלטא ישב עם משפחתי דקות ארוכות והסביר על הממצאים השונים של הניתוח ועל אופן הטיפול בטווח הקרוב והרחוק.
מספר ימים לאחר הניתוח נאלצתי לחזור לאשפוז נוסף עקב זיהום שהתגלה בגופי. במהלך האשפוז ד"ר פלטא ביקר אותי מספר פעמים, אף על פי שלא הוגדרתי כמטופל שלו באשפוז זה. בביקוריו הוא בדק אותי, ייעץ לי, וכן הסביר לי באופן מפורט ומקצועי אודות המחלה ממנה אני סובל (קרוהן) ואופני הטיפול בה.
בכל מפגשינו עם ד"ר פלטא הרגשנו שאנחנו נמצאים בידיים טובות, ושאנו מטופלים בצורה מקצועית ומסבירת פנים.
